SunnyERP

Farm to table, on one operating system.

[ in production ]

Running at Sunshine Vegetables Pvt Ltd since 2024

Runs procurement from contracted farms, batch traceability, quality checks on the floor, GST invoicing and costing for a multi-facility vegetable processing business.

The problem#

Existing ERPs were built for finance teams of fifty in a Western context. Indian SMB food processors run lean, comply with regulations specific to this country, and use tools that don't fit.

Tally is for accounting. SAP is for someone else.

The approach#

Vertical-first. Built around the actual flow of a food processing business — procurement from farms, batch tracking, FSSAI/GST compliance, distribution, costing. Mobile-first on the floor, web in the office. Built to feel like consumer software, not enterprise wallpaper.

The premium-build standard isn't a luxury — it's what keeps people using the tool past month two.
— Build note, August

What it does#

  • Procurement from contracted farms — a vendor onboarding flow a small-business owner can operate without training.
  • Batch-level traceability from raw material to finished SKU. Pulls FSSAI / lot data automatically.
  • A floor-friendly mobile app for shift workers — clock-in, batch updates, simple inputs.
  • Costing dashboards that the owner actually checks. Per-batch, per-product, per-line.
  • GST-ready invoicing and e-way bills, generated where the work happens.

What's next#

Pilot deployments across a handful of mid-sized food processors in Maharashtra and Karnataka. Compliance modules for FSSAI and GST being finalised. Public beta planned for Q2.

If you run a food processing unit between 5–50 people and want a serious tool, the contact form is the right place to start.

[ what it does ]

The things it does well.

[ how it arrives ]

Three ways to get it.

  • Template

The base you see here, adapted to your business — your branding, your workflows, your compliance details — and deployed to your infrastructure or mine.

  • Custom

Built around your problem from the start, using these parts where they fit.

[ requirements ]

What you'll need.

PlatformWhat you need
OfficeAny modern browser — nothing to install
WindowsWindows 10 or later for the desktop client
FloorAndroid 9+ or iOS 16+ for shift-floor use
ServerHosted by me, or your own cloud account

[ licensing ]

What you may do with it.

A deployment licence for your business: your data, your infrastructure if you want it, and no per-seat charge for the people on your floor. You are not locked in. Your data is yours and exportable in full at any time, including if you decide to stop working with me.

[ questions ]

What people ask.

Do I have to replace Tally?

No. Most businesses keep Tally for statutory accounting and use this for operations — procurement, batches, stock, costing, compliance. What flows between them is agreed during setup.

How long does a deployment take?

Typically six to twelve weeks from first conversation to your team using it daily, depending on how many facilities and how much historical data comes across.

Will my floor staff actually use it?

That was the hardest design constraint, and it drove everything. The floor screens are built for someone standing up, on a phone, possibly wearing gloves — not for an accountant at a desk.

Is my data shared with anyone?

No. Each deployment is separate, and nothing about your operations is visible to any other business or used to train anything.

What happens if you get hit by a bus?

A fair question to ask a one-person company. Your deployment includes the source and a documented runbook, so another competent team can pick it up. I would rather you ask this now than discover the answer later.
