These are the terms of using deswalsandbox.com — the marketing website for Deswal Sandbox.

These terms do not apply to the individual products the lab ships — those have their own terms, linked from their respective product pages or App Store listings.

Use of the site#

You can read it. You can share links to it. You can quote it with attribution. You can embed the OG card.

You cannot scrape it for AI training without permission. The llms.txt file at the root sets out the rules for LLM ingestion of the lab's writing — read it before crawling.

Content I publish#

I write the essays in /notebook. I take responsibility for the opinions in them. They are my opinions; they are not legal advice, financial advice, or professional advice in any other field. Take them at their level of seriousness.

Things you write to me#

If you write in via the contact form, anything you send is treated as private correspondence — I won't quote you publicly without permission. If you submit a problem or idea, I retain a non-exclusive right to think about it; you retain ownership of anything you build.

Liability#

I run this lab as a one-person studio. I do my best, but I make mistakes. The site, the products, and the writing are provided as-is, without warranty. If you make a decision based on something I wrote and it goes badly, that's on you, not me.

This isn't legal weasel-wording — it's the honest disclaimer of someone shipping work in public.

Governing law#

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes go to the courts of Bengaluru.

Changes#

If I change these terms, I'll update the last_updated date and note what changed.
